I have always been described as an incredible listener. Between being a naturally curious individual, enjoying problem solving, and being able to listen well, I’ve found that my skills are well suited to supporting my clients on their mental wellness journey. My graduate school program prepared me not only to be a psychiatric prescriber, but also a psychotherapist. I have completed extensive training in developmental trauma and complex posttraumatic stress disorder. Merging these skills on a day-to-day basis when working with my clients is extremely rewarding.

When I help a client decide if medications make sense in their current treatment plan, or whether a change to what they are already prescribed might provide increased symptom relief, these outcomes encourage me to continue learning.

Our journey working together will be a collaborative one. It is my goal for your experience to be one of being seen, heard and understood. I value your feedback, input toward decision making, as well as any questions or concerns you wish to bring to our sessions.

I bring extensive experience gathered over more than 20 years in psychiatry. I have worked in multiple treatment settings, with children/adolescents and adults, tending to both acute and chronic mental health concerns.

When I am not at work, I can be found on the pickleball court, attending a Pilates class or art workshop, or spending quality time with friends or my partner. I enjoy museums, local theater, traveling, the beach, and hanging out with my two grown sons.
